U.K. cautions tourists to Pak.
By B. Muralidhar Reddy
ISLAMABAD, SEPT. 20. The British Foreign Office has advised its
citizens intending to visit Pakistan to check the security
situation before travelling and remain vigilant during their
stay, particularly in large cities.
It has advised British nationals and their families residing in
Pakistan to follow the security situation, adopt a low profile
and keep in touch with Consular wardens and the British High
Commission.
Significantly, the travel advice was issued a day before the
powerful blast which rocked the fruit and vegetable market in
Islamabad. A few weeks ago, the United States had issued a
similar advice to American citizens intending to visit Pakistan.
