U.S. firm takes over JP Systems India

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 20. JP Systems Inc., the Dallas (Texas, U.S.)
based wireless enabling technology and services company,
announced the `takeover' of the Hyderabad-based JP Systems India
(JPSIL).
According to a statement issued here, JP Systems secured a
funding of $45 million from private equity firms and some
strategic partner companies. Mr. Dayakar Puskoor, CEO of JP
Systems, said in the statement that the funds would help them
accelerate product development plans and increase global sales
and marketing efforts.
Incidentally, Mr. Dayakar is the founder promoter of both the
U.S. based company as also the Indian company (JPSIL).
