Forex assets down $94 m

CHENNAI, SEPT. 23. Foreign currency assets (FCAs) were down by $94 million at $32.43 billion during the week ended September 15, according to the statistical supplement of the Reserve Bank of India.

With no additions to gold and SDRs from the previous week's levels of $2,830 million and $2 million respectively, total foreign exchange reserves stood at $35.26 billion.

The RBI said foreign currency assets expressed in U.S. dollar terms included the effect of appreciation/depreciation of non- U.S. currencies held in reserves.
