Man assaulted, robbed

BANGALORE, SEPT. 28. Two incidents of robbery were reported from
the Sampangiramanagar Police limits on Thursday night.
According to police, Mr. Yosi, a Tibetan, working for a hotel,
was assaulted and his bag was snatched away by three unidentified
men near Provident Fund office at about 8.30 p.m.
About an hour later three men relieved one Mr. Bhoomappa (28), an
employee of Venkatappa Art Gallery, of his wrist-watch and Rs.500
in cash on Kasturba Road.
Police, who have registered cases in this connection, suspect the
involvement of one gang in the incidents.
