Love notes
"IT'S ALL about love. Love on the campus and beyond. We are
trying to be very natural in the presentation. There isn't
anything cinematic about the film", says director Gautham Vasudev
about his debut venture "Minnalae".
The film starring Madhavan, Reema, Abbas and Fathima Babu has
some melodious strains composed by Harris Jayaraj, A. R. Rahman's
keyboard player. Scheduled for release in January, this romantic
musical promises to be visually stunning, what with Gautham's
association with ace cinematographer and director Rajeev Menon.
The film has realistic dialogues and situations that would appeal
to the youth.
As for the heroine, Mumbai-based Reema has given a hit in Telugu
titled "Chitram". This is her first film in Tamil. Incidentally,
"Chitram" is to be dubbed in Tamil.
"Alaipayuthey" brought Madhavan waves of adulation. Perhaps in
"Minnalae", the television artiste-turned big screen star will
come up with yet another electrifying performance.
