Bandini mela
IT IS a riot of colour at Kalakar, C. P. Ramaswamy Road. The
boutique is having a pre-Deepavali sale of bandinis. According to
Suman Deepak, the woman behind the boutique, the collection,
designed by Radhika Ajith from Ahmedabad, comprises bandinis in
Gajji and Benarasi silks with rich, gold brocade borders. The
Sikkha, Ambada, Raas Garba, Chandrokani, Bhavan and Kutch
bandinis are also on show. The trendy and traditional suits and
sarees with inventive designs are worth a second look. Isn't it
time to add colour to your wardrobe?
