Kubendrababu on song

CHENNAI, OCT. 21. D. Kubendrababu of Tamil Nadu, scoring two white slams, outclassed fourth seed Narasingha Rao of AIESCB to storm into the quarterfinals of the men's singles event in the TNCA golden jubilee Federation Cup carrom tournament at the Corporation indoor stadium on Saturday.

Another Tamil Nadu player to come to the fore was A. Ponnarasi, fourth seed, who blanked Rinki Ranjan (IAAD) for a last eight berth in the women's section.
