20 killed in attack on LTTE camp
An armed mob today stormed a Government rehabilitation centre for LTTE cadres in central Sri Lanka killed at least 20 inmates and injured several others. The attackers also set fire to the institute buildings. ``We can confirm that at least 20 inmates have died, and 16 injured,'' said Mr. Harsha Gunawardene of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Veerappan didn't want our emissary: Krishna

Feverish activity over Cong. presidential poll
The notification of the election for the Congress president, which was supposed to take place today, was put off by a day as a mark of respect for Mr. Sitaram Kesri who died on Tuesday night. The notification will now be issued tomorrow and the nominations will take place on Friday and Saturday.

3 bodies recovered from Kursk
