'No Pak hand in copter crash'
NEW DELHI, NOV. 13. The Defence Minister, Mr. George Fernandes,
today said there was no evidence yet to show that Pakistan had a
hand in yesterday's crash of an IAF helicopter near the border in
Gujarat.
The wreckage of the Mi-8 copter was found today, 12 km from the
border in Indian territory. Five bodies had been pulled out and
it was not yet known whether there would be any survivor among
the 12 on board. Mr. Fernandes said talking to reporters after
addressing a conference of the Border Roads Organisation here.
