Maran taken off ventilator

CHENNAI, NOV. 13. The condition of the ailing Union Industries
Minister, Mr. Murasoli Maran, showed improvement and his vital
parameters continued to be satisfactory today.
Mr. Maran was taken off the ventillator this evening. But,
sources said, it was not yet final and the doctors were trying to
wean him off the life-support system.
