Chhota Rajan escapes

SINGAPORE, NOV. 24. Chhota Rajan, Mumbai gangster, escaped from the custody of Thai authorities this morning, Indian officials in Bangkok said on telephone. ``He used bedsheets to escape from the fourth floor of the hospital,'' a police official was quoted as saying. The mobster was seriously injured in a September attack by hitmen of the rival Dawood Ibrahim gang.
