No talks at gun point: Panja
NEW DELHI, NOV.27 The Minister of State for External Affairs,
Mr. Ajit Kumar Panja, tonight sought to downplay media
speculation about early resumption of Indo-Pak talks, asserting
``peace talks cannot be held at gun point.''
``'There is no hide and seek in this,'' he told in a television
programme apparently referring to reports which spoke of
Government sending signals to Islamabad to positively respond to
the unilateral ceasefire offer in Kashmir.
On the parallel ongoing track-II efforts jointly by both sides
to evolve pragmatic approach to resolve the Kashmir imbroglio, he
maintained ``there is no track-II in this.''
