Neo Petcon joins hands with U.K. firm

HYDERABAD, NOV. 27. Polarchem International of the U.K., and Hyderabad-based Neo Petcon (India), have joined hands to launch energy saving chemicals to be used in boilers and furnaces. Mr. K. V. Ramchander Rao, Director, Neo Petcon, said, Polarchem product `L2K' is used for cleaning of heat transfer surfaces while the plant is in operation. This is the first time an `online' cleaning chemical is being marketed in India, they said.

Under the MoU, Petcon will market the chemicals being manufactured in India by a Mumbai-based franchisee. These chemicals are being used in Europe and Far East in industries such as refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers and power plants.
