Statewide bandh tomorrow
RANCHI, DEC. 4. The Opposition parties in Jharkhand have decided
to observe a dawn-to-dusk bandh in the State on Dec. 6 to protest
against the appointment of Mr. Prabhat Kumar as Governor.
The strike has been jointly called by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha
and the CPI(ML), and is backed by the RJD and the CPI.
Also, the National Students Union of India has announced a black
day the same day to protest against the demolition of the Babri
Masjid.
Opposition parties are pressing for the ouster of Mr. Prabhat
Kumar for his alleged role in the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
