New CJ for AP High Court

NEW DELHI, DEC. 5. The President has appointed Mr. Justice Satya
Brata Sinha, Judge of the Calcutta High Court, as the Chief
Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court with effect from the date he
assumes charge of his office. He succeeds Mr. Justice M. S.
Liberhan who retired last month.
The President has appointed Mr. Justice Naresh Chander Jain as
the Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court; Mr. Justice Ashok
Abhaiendra Desai as the Chief Justice of the Uttaranchal High
Court and Mr. Justice Vinod Kumar Gupta as the Chief Justice of
the Jharkhand High Court.
