LS, RS again adjourned
By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI, DEC. 6. Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned for
the day soon after they assembled with Opposition members
demanding the resignation of three Central Ministers charged in
the Babri Masjid demolition case.
Agitated Opposition members raised the demand in the Rajya Sabha
and continued to press for it even as the Chairman, Mr. Krishan
Kant, said members could speak after the question hour. As
Opposition members raised slogans, BJP members countered it and
amid the din, the House was adjourned for the day without
transacting business.
The Lok Sabha assembled for a shortwhile before being adjourned
for the day as Opposition MPs led by the Congress lost little
time in demanding resignation of three Ministers, Mr. L.K.
Advani, Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi and Ms. Uma Bharti. Both Houses
were adjourned on Tuesday over the same issue.
