3 killed in Kashmir blasts

SRINAGAR DEC. 7. Three persons were killed and 38, including three CRPF jawans, were injured in attacks by militants in Kupwara and Kishtwar today, the 10th day of the ceasefire. Two militants were killed in an encounter in Poonch.

Militants hurled a grenade at a patrol party of Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kupwara town late in the evening, police sources said. Over 30 civilians and policemen were injured. A civilian, Mohammad Rafiq, and an SPO, Ghulam Hassan Lone, later died of injuries in the hospital here.
