Sanjay Kumar in lead

CALCUTTA, DEC. 8. Sanjay Kumar brought in the day's best card of four under 68 to snatch the lead after the third round of the Rs. 8.5 lakh Servo Masters golf at the Digboi Club Golf Links.

According to information reaching here, Kumar tallied six under 210. Praduman Guleria jumped from overnight fifth to share the second spot with Harmeet Kahlon and overnight leader Mukesh Kumar at three under 213.

Rohtas Singh was placed fifth at two under 214 and Yusuf Ali, Feroz Ali and Rahul Ganapathy were tied at one under 215.

Beginning the day with a bogey, the Lucknow-based Kumar birdied on the third, fourth, seventh, ninth, 12th, 13th and 18th. He had bogeys on the 16th and 17th. Guleria carded one under 71 getting two birdies and as many bogeys to finish the first nine one over. A birdie on the 10th and 16th and one over on the 12th enabled him to stay at the striking distance of the leader.
