PM's statement made in a planned way: Thakre

RATLAM, DEC. 13. The former BJP president, Mr. Kushabhau Thakre, has said that the Prime Minister, Mr. A. B. Vajpayee's remarks on Ayodhya issue were made not at random but in a planned way.

Talking to newspersons here on Tuesday night, Mr. Thakre said there was nothing new in it but refused to elaborate. The BJP leader said the Opposition, by hampering the proceedings of the Parliament for the past one week, was trying to weaken democracy.

He blamed the Opposition for ``creating political tension in the country to attract the vote bank by making the Ram temple an issue''.
