Sharad Yadav, Yerran Naidu meet

NEW DELHI, DEC. 15. The Civil Aviation Minister and president of the Janata Dal (United), Mr. Sharad Yadav, met the TDP leader, Mr. K. Yerran Naidu, here today. They are understood to have discussed the situation in the wake of the statement of the Prime Minister in the Lok Sabha on the Ayodhya issue.

The meeting assumes significance since the JD(U) was among the NDA allies coordinating their response on the Congress motion that was defeated in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. The TDP, the Trinamool, the JD(U), the INLD, the NC and the BJD had adopted a ``wait and watch'' attitude when the Lok Sabha began discussion on the motion on Wednesday.
