A truly Tamil flavour
WHEN OTHERS are still finding their way about cyberspace, UTV
Interactive has re-positioned its tamizha-tamizha.com in a new
avatar.
The idea is to make it a more interactive and ``worldwide
platform on the web for Tamils,'' explains Mr.Biren Ghose, Chief
Executive Officer of UTV Interactive.
Launched in Pongal 2000, the new look site has a variety of
content from movies to recipes to trivia.
The USP of the ``Chennai-centric'' vortal, the second from the
stable of UTV, kemchho.com in Gujarati being the other, with its
friendly language, has easy to navigate features.
With its something for everything approach, tamizha-tamizha.com
showcases the cosmopolitan nature of Chennai.
It has interviews with cine actresses, their comments, film
review, matrimonial, news replete with panchangam and the weather
round-up.
Seeking a convergence between Vijay TV and tamizha-tamizha.com in
certain spheres, UTV Interactive, says Mr.Ghose, ``the idea is to
keep the audience broadband ready. We have got the tools in-house
to digitalise the content.''
