Tektronix adopts Bluetooth's technology
BANGALORE: Tektronix, a market leader in the test, measurement
and monitoring industry, has announced an agreement to acquire
the Bluetooth SIG (special interest group) approved protocol
analyser product from Digianswer, a subsidiary of Motorola, based
in Demmark. In addition, the companies would form a five-year
partnership to further advance Bluetooth technology and
applications, according to a company release said. With this
acquisition, Tektronix became a leading supplier of testing tools
needed to advance the implementation of Bluetooth technology, it
said.
