CPI(M) plans rallies from Kasaragod, Parassala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DEC. 23. The CPI(M) State committee has
decided to take out two jathas from Kasaragod and Parassala to
highlight the achievements of the LDF Government and to educate
the people about the adverse impact of Centre's economic policies
and its communalisation efforts.
The jatha from Parassala, to be led by the CPI(M) Central
committee member, Mr. M. A. Baby, would commence its journey on
January 8 and that from Kasaragod, to be led by the CPI(M) State
secretariat member, Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, would start on
January 10. The Parassala jatha would be inaugurated by the Chief
Minister, Mr. E. K. Nayanar, and that from Kasaragod by the
CPI(M) State secretary, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan. The two jathas
would conclude with a rally at Thrissur on January 30.
The Parassala jatha would have the party State committee members,
Mr. G. Sudhakaran, MLA, Mr. P. Rajendran, MP, Ms. J. Mercykutty
Amma, MLA, Mr. Gopi Kottamurickal and Mr. K. N. Balagopal, Mr.
Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, Mr. Anavur Nagappan, Mr. V. Sivan
Kutty (Thiruvananthapuram), Mr. P. R. Vasanthan (Kollam), Mr. A.
Padmakumar, Mr. V. R. Sivarajan, Mr. R. Sanal Kumar
(Pathanamthitta), Mr. K. Prasad, Mr. C. Shyam, Ms. T. P.
Mangalamma (Alappuzha), Mr. O. G. Madanan, Mr. C. V. Varghese,
Mr. N. V. Baby (Idukki), Mr. V. N. Vasavan, Mr. K. J. Thomas, Ms.
T. C. Padmakumari (Kottayam), Mr. John Fernandes, Mr. P. Rajiv
and Ms. K. Thulasi (Ernakulam) as its members.
The Kasaragod jatha would have the CPI(M) State committee
members, Mr. N. N. Krishnadas and Mr. A. Vijayaraghavan, both
MPs, Mr. M. V. Jayarajan, MLA, Mr. Mathai Chacko, Mr. T.
Sasidharan, Ms. N. K. Radha, MLA, Mr. K. P. Satheesh Chandran,
MLA, Mr. K. V. Kunhiraman, Ms. M. Sumathi (Kasaragod), Ms. K. K.
Shylaja Teacher, MLA, Mr. V. Narayanan, Mr. M. Prakashan, Mr. A.
P. Abdullakutty, MP, Mr. K. K. Ragesh (Kannur), Mr. K.
Sasidharan, Mr. P. V. Velayudhan (Wayanad), Mr. Elamaram Kareem,
MLA, Mr. P. Viswan, MLA (Kozhikode), Ms. P. K. Sainaba
(Malappuram), Ms. Girija Surendran, MLA, Mr. S. Ajayakumar, MP,
Mr. V. K. Chandran, MLA (Palakkad), Mr. K. M. Subrahmanian, Mr.
Babu Palissery and Ms. Bhanumathi (Thrissur) as its members.
Each jatha would be accompanied by 1,000 men and women CPI(M)
activists. The CPI(M) State committee has called upon all
sections of people to make the jathas a success.
