Pomp and gaiety mark Christmascelebrations
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD, DEC. 25. The Christmas festival was celebrated with
pomp and gaiety in the Twin Cities on Monday.
Christians in large numbers visited churches and participated in
special prayers to celebrate the first Christmas of the
millennium. The choirs played carols and messages were given to
the congregation by the priests at the churches in the morning.
Large crowds were seen at churches at Secunderabad, Mettuguda,
Gunfoundry and Narayanguda.
