Musharraf to tour West Asia from Jan. 7

ISLAMABAD, DEC. 29. The Pakistan Chief Executive, Gen. Pervez
Musharraf, is leaving on a five-day West Asia tour beginning on
January 7.
In the course of the tour, he would visit Syria, Jordan and
Lebanon.
The tour is in response to invitation from heads of these States
when Gen. Musharraf met them at the Summit meeting of the
Organisation of Islamic Conference at Doha.
Gen. Musharraf is expected to explore possibilities of promotion
of bilateral trade.
