International magic theatre

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DEC. 29. An international magic theatre with
all facilities for the performance of the latest magic tricks
will be set up at the KINFRA park at Kazhakoottam by the
International Magic Academy.
Announcing this at a press conference in connection with the
completion of 25 years in his magic profession here today, the
executive director of the Academy of Magical Sciences, Mr.
Gopinath Muthukad, said the first phase of construction of the
international magic theatre which is expected to be opened on
January 1, 2002 has been started. The theatre would be designed
similar to the Monte Carlow international magic theatre in Paris.
The Princess Grace magic theatre in Paris has offered to help the
magic academy for setting up the theatre, he said.
Mr. Muthukad added that he was planning to set up a magic museum
to restore the antiques of magic. A book on the masters of magic
would also be released soon, he said.
