LTTE man deported

COLOMBO, DEC. 31 A Sri Lankan-born LTTE member, found guilty of manufacturing a submarine for the Tamil rebels in Thailand, has been deported by Thai authorities to Norway, the country of his residence.

A criminal court in Pukhet, Thailand, found Christy Reginold Lawrence guilty of manufacturing the Submarine and ordered his deportation on Monday, Sri Lankan newspaper, The Sunday Times reported today. He was arrested in April.
