Srikant Joshi dead

KHANDWA (MP), JAN. 21. Hindi litterateur, Srikant Joshi, died following a heart attack at his native place here last night. He was 70, and is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.

Joshi was conferred the prestigious ``Nirala Samman'' by the Uttar Pradesh Government and ``Bhavabhuti Samman'' and ``Makhan Lal Chaturvedi prize'' by the Madhya Pradesh Government for his contribution to Hindi literature.
