Advantage E-Accounting ties up with 3 cos

MUMBAI, JAN. 26. Advantage E-Accounting, a Mumbai-based IT firm
providing mission critical products in the realm of finance and
accounting to individuals and institutions on the Internet
platform, has tied up with Hindustan Lever, ICICI Bank and BPL
Mobile.
The firm operates three businesses - MunshiKaka.com, a
comprehensive web-based service for accounting and taxation for
personal finance and investment, Advantage MOTI (Move Operations
to India), an IT-enabled accounting and related services for
asset agglomerations outside India, and Advantage COMFORT
(Computer Oriented Mutual Fund Operations Review for Trust), a
risk and middle office management support for mutual funds in
India.
ICICI Venture Fund has recently invested Rs. 4 crores for a
significant stake in the company. Advantage E-Accounting is
promoted by Mr. Shailesh V. Haribhakti, a chartered accountant,
and Mr. K. N. Vaidyanathan, former business head of Morgan
Stanley Dean Witter Investment Management. Its board of directors
include, Mr. A. P. Kurien, Chairman, Association of Mutual Funds
of India, Mr. Ravi Narain, Managing Director of National Stock
Exchange, Mr. Dina Wadia, Partner, Little & Co, a legal advisory
firm, and Mr. Nitin Deshmukh, CIO, ICICI Venture Fund.
In Chennai the company has tied up with Sukumar & Co and in
Bangalore with N. Nityananda & Co who are Haribhakti affiliates
in these cities.
