Ways India buys U.S. firm

MUMBAI, FEB. 12. Ways India, an m-commerce focussed company that is pioneering the provision of technology infrastructure for the Internet and mobile economy, today announced the acquisition of McDonnell Associates, Inc. (MAI), a software consulting company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.

Through this transaction, MAI will become a 100 percent subsidiary of Ways India.

According to a release, Ways India plans to leverage the operating position of MAI to establish and grow in the U.S. its business of developing and managing the competency centres for BROKAT on a global basis.

The existing management team of MAI will continue to lead the company's business in the U.S.
