Second venture of a success team
THE shooting was for K.R.G. Movies International ``Middle Class
Madhavan'' which has Prabhu and Abirami in the lead. Director T.
P. Gajendran says the middle class people are the worst sufferers
on all counts. ``Take my case.I was staying in Kodambakkam. My
neigbhour was a popular actor. He let out his house to a big car
company. The company gave problems to all the people in that
place, particularly the neigbhours. This made me think how upper
class people can achieve what they want with money and the lower
class is ready to live as they like. Only the middle class
suffers the most.''
The story of this movie is based on sentiment, tradition,
customs, economy and the dreams of the middle class people. But I
have told all this with a touch of comedy. ``The scene to be shot
today is on the hero Prabhu and the heroine Abirami. One day as
they enter the house they see only Ayyappa devotees. They come to
know that the hero's father Delhi Ganesh is going to put on the
`malai' to undertake the Sabarimalai pilgrimage.''
The hero Prabhu says, ``After the success of `Budget Padmanabhan'
the same team decided to do another film and this time we are
making `Middle class Madhavan'. I am a lawyer and married to
Abirami. The story is of a middle class man who works hard to
satisfy everyone. The script has come out well and is bound to be
a success as it has all the right ingredients to make it a hit
movie.''
For Abirami, the heroine of ``Vanavil'' this movie is her second
in Tamil. ``Comedy script, good production company and the family
atmosphere in the unit make me work hard. I am sure to see the
fruits of our hard work'', she says.
The film has Prabhu, Abirami, Visu, Vivek, Vadivelu, Delhi
Ganesh, Kaka Radhakrishnan, Radhika Chowdry, Revathi Sankaran,
and Jothilakshmi. The camera is handled by Ragunatha Reddy. Music
is scored by the TV fame Dhena. Dialogues are written by Prasanna
Kumar. Art is by GK. Editing is by Ganesh and songs are written
by Valee. The film is Produced by KRG. The story, screenplay and
direction are by T. P. Gajendran.
