5 coalminers buried alive
NAGPUR, MARCH 5. Five coalminers were killed when a roof
collapsed in an underground mine in Durgapur Reyatpur Colliery of
western coalfields limited, at Chandrapur, about 160 km from
here, today.
A total of 39 persons were trapped under the debris. However, 34
workers were rescued, police said. on, police said.
Two mining sardars were among the trapped workers in the accident
which occurred in the forenoon.
