By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD, MARCH 5.The City Police Commissioner, Mr. P. Ramulu,
on Monday said investigation into the killing of the tigress in
the Nehru Zoological Park was on full steam, "but we are unable
to make it public as it is likely to hamper investigation."
"We have got some clues and two teams have been formed to pursue
the case," he explained. The teams were headed by the Inspectors
of Bahadurpura and Kamatipura police stations under the direct
supervision of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Charminar.
The Police Commissioner was reviewing the case here on Monday.
Stating that continuous efforts were on to nab the criminals
involved in the incident, he said, "we have been unable to get
any clues since the crime scene was disturbed in the initial
stages itself. Hence, we are working from the list of criminals
involved in poaching and related cases. We have arrived at some
clues, he added.
