Bradman memorabilia stolen
SYDNEY, MARCH 5. Police said today that 10 cricket bats worth US
$40,000 and signed by Australian cricket legend Sir Donald
Bradman, who died eight days ago at 92, had been stolen from a
collector's home in New South Wales State.
The 10 bats, contained in wood and glass display cases, were
stolen from a house in the hunter valley region north of Sydney
on the weekend.
The bats were limited editions issued in the past 10 years.
