iNautix's Chennai facility

CHENNAI, MARCH 9. iNautix Technologies, a fully owned subsidiary of CSFBdirect (the online brokerage arm of Credit Suisse First Boston of the U.S.), involved in developing and hosting products and solutions for the financial brokerage industry, is inaugurating its Chennai facility on Saturday.The New Jersey based company started its Indian operations in May last through a strategic tie-up with Cognizant Technology Solutions. The agreement served to kick-start iNautix's operations in India before moving to Tidel Park, Chennai.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday Mr. Blake Darey, CEO of CSFBdirect, said the Credit Suisse group had about 80,000 employees with operations in 60 countries and iNautix was expected to create competitive advantage for Credit Suisse group companies and others by leveraging technology. CSFBdirect was offering a diversified range of investment products and services to sophisticated, self-directed investors. It had over one million worldwide customer accounts representing nearly $28 billion in assets, Mr. Darey said.

Mr. Suresh Kumar, President and CEO of iNautix Technologies Inc., said, the Tidel Park facility would be the largest development centre for the company outside the U.S. It would also house a data centre to cater to the hosting requirements of CSFBdirect's global brokerage operations. It was proposed to invest $12 million (Rs. 54 crores) this year on this facility and data centre, he said.

Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) is a leading global investment banking firm serving institutional, corporate, government and individual clients. It is a business unit of the Zurich based Credit Suisse group, a leading global financial services company.
