BoM, ICICI Bank merger comes into effect

MUMBAI, MARCH 10. The Reserve Bank of India has sanctioned the
scheme of amalgamation of Bank of Madura with ICICI Bank. The
scheme will come into force with effect from March 10.
According to an RBI release, from March 10 all the branches and
offices of Bank of Madura will function as branches and offices
of ICICI Bank.
