The Opposition parties today demanded the Prime Minister's resignation in the wake of ``revelations'' made by an online news website, Tehelka, on corruption in a defence deal, even as the Bharatiya Janata Party president, Mr. Bangaru Laxman, caught on camera, could not but confirm that he had accepted Rs. one lakh ``for the party.''

Sensex crash: Sinha rules out JPC probe
The Government today rejected the Opposition's demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the crash in share prices over the past few days.
