Meet on J&K put off
SRINAGAR, MARCH 14. A two-day peace conference on Jammu and
Kashmir has been postponed following non-issuance of visas to
invitees from Pakistan and other countries, its organiser, the
Awami National Conference (ANC) said here today.
The conference `In search for peace and solution' to the Kashmir
problem, scheduled to begin in Jammu on March 17, has been put
off as the Centre did not issue visas to delegates from Pakistan-
occupied Kashmir the U.K., the U.S. and Canada, the ANC
spokesman, Mr. Muzaffar Shah, told reporters.
