Symonds hurt in freak incident
BRISBANE, MARCH 17. Allrounder Andrew Symonds may have to
withdraw from Australia's one-day cricket tour of India after
injuring his shoulder while packing his bags prior to the
departure on Saturday.
Symonds faces a fitness test on Monday to determine whether the
shoulder problem will keep him out of the five-match series,
which begins next Sunday.
And in another off-pitch drama, New South Wales fast bowler
Nathan Bracken missed the flight to Mumbai after losing his
travel documents.
Officials were unable to get a replacement passport and visa in
time for Bracken to catch the flight with one-day teammates,
Darren Lehmann, Michael Bevan and Ian Harvey.
