International \| Previous \| Next Plot to assassinate Thondaman unearthed COLOMBO, MARCH 18. The Sri Lankan police today claimed to have unearthed a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam plot to assassinate the senior Minister and Ceylon Workers Congress leader, Mr. Arunugham Thondman. The Nuwera Eliya police have taken into custody a hardcore terrorist who revealed that he had been monitoring the movement of the Minister for some time in order to carry out the killing.
