Kraft ties up with Dabur

NEW DELHI, MARCH 18. Kraft, the world's second largest food
company, has entered into a tie up with Dabur for the
distribution of its high volume products, beginning with its
first brand in the country Tang, a fruit flavoured beverage.
Beginning with Delhi, the product will be rolled out to over
20,000 outlets in Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore by the
end of April this year.
According to the Dabur Foods CEO, Mr. Amit Burman, the
partnership is based on compatibility and synergy. Tang
complements Dabur's portfolio of products in the food market.
``Our extensive reach and penetration in the retail universe will
enable a quick roll out, We at Dabur are pleased to partner KJS
in launching Kraft's first brand in India,'' he added.
KJS India, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Philip Morris India, will
manufacture and market the product in the country.
