By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI, MARCH 19. United Airlines today announced the introduction of its new India-specific website for simple and hassle-free travel for online customers on the airline's return round-the world-service from Delhi starting on April 1.

Customers visiting the website, www.unitedairlines.co.in, would be able to book and purchase travel on any flight operated by the United Airlines, United Shuttle or United Express. Fares and tickets purchased via the site are priced in Indian rupees.

The new pro-active customer's paging service allows customers to be contacted through their Internet-enabled pager, cellular telephone or personal computers with an update on the status of their flight and gate information, said Mr. Michael Purchon, General Manager India, United Airlines, while launching the site.
