AIFB warning to partymen
By Our Special Correspondent
MADURAI, MARCH 19. The State committee of the All-India Forward
Bloc (AIFB) has warned a section of partymen against attempting
to ``create confusion'' among the cadre regarding the
seat-sharing arrangement made with the AIADMK. The AIFB has been
offered one seat to contest in the forthcoming Assembly elections
as part of the secular front.
In a resolution passed at its urgent meeting here on Saturday,
the AIFB said the general secretary of the State unit, Mr. L.
Santhanam, had accepted the offer of one seat only after
consulting the central committee members. But a section of
partymen was indulging in a ``false propaganda'' with the motive
of creating confusion among the cadre.
According to an AIFB press release, the meeting, presided over by
Mr. P. Sandana Thevar, authorised the general secretary to take
disciplinary action against those involving in such ``anti-party
activities''.
