Sonia commends conduct of AICC plenary session
By Our Special Correspondent
BANGALORE, MARCH 20. The AICC President, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, has
lauded the 81st plenary session of the Congress which concluded
here on Sunday as one of the best organised AICC sessions in
recent memory, and also said that it had set the agenda for the
party in the coming months.
Ms. Gandhi has conveyed her deep appreciation and sincere thanks
for the ``impeccable arrangements'' made for the session, in a
letter to the Chief Minister, Mr. S.M. Krishna, sent on Monday.
There was a touch of professionalism in the working of every
department during the entire session. Not a single complaint was
reported by any of the participants and the credit for the
conduct of the session should go to Mr. Krishna and his
colleagues. Every volunteer at the session worked hard.
The Congress President further said that the deliberations at the
session were meaningful and constructive. The atmosphere and
camaraderie witnessed throughout the session would be recalled by
all those attended it, she added.
