Antarix in pact with Escosoft

CHENNAI, MARCH 22. Antarix e Applications, a global application service provider, has signed an agreement with Escosoft Technologies, a member of the Escorts group to provide IFS applications (industrial and financial systems) on a subscription mode to its clients.

Escopsoft Technologies has a strategic alliance with IFS, one of the ten largest companies in the world providing enterprise applications solutions, to distribute IFS products in India.

Addressing presspersons here today Mr. Pawan Kumar, president and CEO, Antarix e Applications said Antarix would offer business applications on a pay-and-use basis to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) providing them rapid access to the latest software with low investment cost and minimal risk. The applications would be hosted at the Antarix data centres and accessed through the internet or virtual private networks (VPNs) using Antarix internet services.

Mr. Pawan Kumar said Antarix was dedicated to providing SMEs with the IT capability required to compete with global corporations.

Mr. Mark Rabjohns, president, IFS (Asia Pacific), said IFS was offering web-based business applications, including customer relations management (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM) components. The component-based business applications developed and supplied by IFS would streamline operations in medium and large sized companies.
