LTITI, Sun Micro join hands
CHENNAI: L&T Information Technology (LTITIL), a subsidiary of
L&T, and Sun Microsystems India Pvt. Ltd. have signed a
memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly offer high quality,
scalable and reliable e-business solutions to their customers.
The partnership will synergise the capabilities of Application
Integration and B2B solutions from LTITL with the iForce
initiative from Sun Microsystems, according to a press release.
Topsys releases new version of Account21
CHENNAI: Topsys Solutions has released a new version of their
financial accounting package - Account21 - a simple yet powerful
business package developed using the latest 32 bit Windows
technologies. A new Windows Explorer type of interface,
manufacturing inventory module and modification in the invoicing
module are the main additional features of the new version, says
a company press release.
Aptech Online Varsity's plans
CHENNAI: Onlinevarsity.com, the online education portal by Aptech
has offered one more strategic course alliance to its students.
The collaboration with Qimpro College offers a set of courses
that cover the new quality management standards, according to a
company release. As a comprehensive education portal,
onlinevarsity.com is introducing its first non-IT course on
quality with this alliance. There are five courses focussed on
the new quality management standards of ISO9001:2000, the release
adds.
New chief for French accounting firm
CHENNAI: Mr. Edouard Salustro, founder and Chairman of RSM
Salustro Reydel, one of France's leading audit and accounting
firms, has been appointed as Chairman of RSM International. RSM
International is the seventh largest professional accounting and
consulting organisation in the world. According to the new
Chairman, RSM has a number of initiatives including the launch of
international access to capital and ebusiness programmes, a press
release says.
Com. Bhandari joins IT & T
NEW DELHI: Commodore (Retd.) Rajan Bhandari and Mr. Raj Kumar
Zadbuke, an old Telco hand, have been appointed vice-presidents
of IT & T Limited, a provider of e-software products and
solutions and outsource for live web-based customer interaction
solutions.
