A match for a noble cause
CHENNAI, MARCH 22. In a wonderful gesture, India and Australia,
who were involved in a dramatic finish on the final day of the
third Test on Thursday, will meet again for the Siyaram Cup at
the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Friday.
It will be cricket for a good cause, the two teams meeting in a
day-night limited overs game to raise fund for the Gujarat
earthquake victims. Since both the teams want to chip in with bit
to help those affected by the calamity, they are expected to
field the key players.
The timings would be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.
The match will be shown on Doordarshan with a repeat telecast on
Sahara TV.
