President discharged

NEW DELHI, MARCH 31. The President, Mr. K. R. Narayanan, who underwent surgery for removal of gall bladder stones at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here last Thursday, was discharged early this afternoon.

According to a communique issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President is ``hale and hearty''.
