Kerala Express to stop at Varkala
By Our Staff Reporter
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 14. The Kerala Express would stop at
Varkala railway station from tomorrow. The New Delhi bound train,
which will leave from Thiruvananthapuram at 11-a.m., will reach
Varkala at 11-45 a.m.
The local residents, especially the railways commuters, and the
Railway Passengers' Association had been demanding stoppage for
the train over the years taking into account the proximity to the
Varkala beach resort, the Sivagiri Madhom and Gulf Malayalis.
The passenger association in a release, said a reception will be
accorded to the train when it stops at the station.
