Panel formed for Devi Lal memorial

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 14. The Haryana Government has constituted a
27-member Chaudhari Devi Lal Memorial Committee to suggest
establishment of suitable memorials, welfare scheme or
development initiatives in memory of the late Deputy Prime
Minister.
The committee includes veteran freedom fighters, presidents of
various political parties, a former Chief Secretary and former
Director-General of Police, a retired Chief Justice and former
Army Chief, Vice-Chancellors of various Universities of Haryana
and president of the Press Club, Chandigarh.
This decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held here today
under the chairmanship of the Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Om
Prakash Chautala.
